If you had to buy one more energy related company that will sell to China for the next 15/25 years....What company would you choose...???
China's leadership is most likely to favor buying energy from one of their politically tied-in Belt-and-Road allies. This already includes Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Russia. It also includes Iran when possible. We're mostly talking about state-owned companies.

There's also the offshore oil China wants to steal from Vietnam and Exxon.

Given the ongoing cultural conflict between the democratic US and proto-fascist-communism in China, I wouldn't place bets on US oil an gas companies selling to China from America. Chevron selling LNG to China from Australia would be a safer bet, in which case Exxon might be one of the sellers too. But that's not going to be China's favorite choice.
