how funny.
i remember those things, although i
have no really good reason to...as a
child, i would take the backs off the tv's
while my parents were out for the evening
(verrry young child) just to prove i could put
them back before they would know any better....

don't ask.

i also disassembled, piece by piece, a clicking beetle toy
that scared me: the kind you drag around and it's antennae
moved and clicked. disassembled, not broke it...hmm.

funny transistors and rotary tuners.
and slide tuners.
sure, i remember them...
i think i used to try to get into the
fisher components.

anyway, i grew up to be a minimalist.
