actually I drop them about 4 klics away across a road separated by a lot of open parkland... there are a lot of hawks in the area and now coyotes.. in the open they are toast..

The voles look like big fat field mice and eat your crops.. especially root cops in my experience .. moles are only a headache if you want a Hank Hill lawn :) They are carnivores but the tunnels are problematic for a lawn.. I don't mind moles :) My boy working for me this year.. saw what he thought was a ferret.. could be an escaped pet but maybe a weasel.. (I HOPE) those guys are our friends :)

Every time I see foxes or coyotes in the are I notice the bunny population goes way down :))
