No, Penni, I am not upset, and in fact you are correct. I went back and read my original post, and you are right that I should have said that "in my opinion" he had a sexual addiction disease process going on. However, to me there is absolutely no other logical or even possible explanation for such destructive behavior. Perhaps this is a cultural thing. I think out here in San Francisco, at least in the touchy feely circles I move in, it may be more typical to ascribe behavioral explanations to human behavior, but I am not sure about that. I should be more careful.

I don't think I ever said he refused to get treatment, though. Did I? One of the things Monica is widely quoted as saying on those original tapes is that the president is in denial about the Paula Jones case. To me, that would indicate that he is not in any kind of treatment, because treatment breaks down denial, but I don't believe I have much of an opinion on that, except that honestly, I believe Bill and Hillary must both be able to compartmentalize huge parts of reality in order to function in everyday life (again, totally an opinion).
