I doubt we'll see the good doctor soon, though with the anonymity of the internet you never know - he could even be some precocious 14 year old perforated person who delights in tormenting adults But I sure hope no one made any investment decisions on the basis of reading his posts.

After all is said and done, IOM is now a $2,000,000,000 a year corporation which just posted it's strongest quarter in history, although with some minor (I hope) glitches on their way to becoming a much larger company. The delays in Buz and Jaz2 are disappointing, but not necessarily fatal if they do come out in the 2nd or 3rd quarter. Clik! is still a hypothetical product that could be huge, but its success isn't crucial to the short term success of the company.

In the meantime, OEM acceptance has grown, which is critical. I have a hard time envisioning Micron deciding in 9 months to make a different removable storage their a: drive. The only real risk there is if someone comes out with a 100+mg removable drive compatible with the Zip - then it becomes a true commodity.

I will, however, get very nervous if I see someone like Gateway decides to make the SparQ standard in much of their line. Until then, I'll just have to try hard to resist the temptation to make IOM an even bigger part of my not-so-impressive portfolio.
