"Think of the how this technology will help 3rd world countries leapfrog into generating decentralized clean electricity." Yes, exactly. It could be an incredible game changer. Lots of places here in the US too still off the grid...like much of the huge and remote Navajo reservation here in NM and across northern Arizona. And the many remote villages up in Alaska...and lots of remote rural ranch sites. I have a gas hook up to run a big industrial gas motor on an irrigation well. I'm not using the well but I know lots of farmers would be interested in coupling an electric motor to a gas supplied power source.

I'm also wondering if an NG plant like this coupled with an electric motor makes sense for cars. Perhaps a couple more development steps down the road. I have always liked the idea of electric motors to replace int. comb. power plants.. It's the batteries that's the hassle.
