looks like cpq set the trend, dell has blow out, although bec. of currency hedging the rev could be slightly slower with dell but the profit will be higher. read cpq release and conf. call in detail in regards to hedging and asia. but, unit growth puts cpq at putting more ground bet. dell and cpq on units produced. plus if gtw is bot by IBM. then dell losiese no 2 on pc makers and ibm is second. but, none of this means dell stk privce is going down... it's going up. what rank you are menas nothing. eps is all that counts. with dell it's there in feb 98. the asia deal meas that dell will stay there too. it actually saved dell from any tanking in feb

Venkie, So, YOUR the one that can predict what the market is going to do. I've been looking for you for a long time! There are a couple of things I've heard that I think are relevant at this juncture: 1. The only advice I can give about the stock market is never take any advice on the stock market 2. The only thing one can predict about the market is that it is going to be unpredictable. Now for my prediction: CPQ & INTC will both outperform Dell by March. Put that one in your memory bank. Your horns are showing, JH p.s. Why don't you mortgage everything you own and put it into Dell so that we can all see how big your "kahoonas" are
