Well that just proves once again what an ignorant idiot you are.

The world was never going to crash because of the date on your computer. lol. . But they were out to fix something. It just wasn't what they told you it was. The patch was a back door into your system. One that prior to them beating Microsoft over the head with anti-trust charges was not available. They changed the law during the Clinton administration. Everyone agreed to implement it save for Microsoft. The net-workers, the computer manufacturers, all of them.

Out comes the enforcers world wide and they threatened to take it down and break it up. Finally Microsoft agreed and nothing was done to Microsoft. . Problem is, there was all of that equipment out there that still was not complaint. Thus the Y2K scare getting all of the businesses and individuals to either buy new equipment that allowed for government spying, or at the very least, install a patch which allowed access. Most did. But if one did not, guess what? It all worked fine without it.

If you had followed tech back in the 90s, you would have known about this. But your head was probably up your ass as usual wanting to know what the latest liberal fad was and it all escaped you because you are blind. You were probably out throwing paint at women who wore mink coats (or some other crazy nut job cause) and missed the whole crap show.

Do you remember when they fixed all the computers to keep it from happening? How about we fix our energy sources to prevent more extreme warning?

How deep is the lake? :)

.....

80% volcanic activity is underwater.

Scientists have long suspected that there is a thermal heat source under the ice in Antarctica that may be the real cause of some ice melting in that region rather than climate change theories. NASA has confirmed that indeed this heat source exists which many have been searching for over a long period of time.

At the North Pole, there is the Gakkel Ridge which runs about 1800 miles from Greenland to Siberia. It is a ridge which is littered with volcanic activity and has countless hydrothermal vents. REAL scientists in geology see this ridge as a hotbed of irregular volcanic activity. It appears that the rise in volcanic activity is building in the Arctic Ocean as well. This is of serious concern for if the ice melts, then the water will evaporate and return as snow building up the glaciers in the North and ensuring that we will indeed see crop failures for the next cycle.
