I would suggest taking the average of several estimates. Anybody else want to give it a WAG?
Can't say I disagree much. They might be able to get the animal portion of it done in a year rather than two - and it would be a different sort of toxicity study if the 'Noroviricide' needs to be ingested or IV administered,...

Although IF by that point the Shingles-cide is on the market - then they should be able to self-fund further development rather than 'finding a patsy'.
