Timeline of Shokin's firing: twitter.com Through most of 2015, the US Ambassador, Atlantic Council, and the rest of the gang praise Shokin's work. In December 2015, the NY Times breaks the story that Biden's son is on the Burisma payroll. Suddenly, in December/January a dramatic shift occurs and Shokin becomes Enemy Number One. I strongly believe that Biden's graft was being done on the sly and these guys didn't know about it until the NYT story. Sort of like in Goodfellas how Paulie told Henry and Jimmy not to do any side deals, but they couldn't resist. Notice that Pyatt was slow to react to the shift in policy (he praised Shokin's reforms on Jan 6). A few months later he was replaced by Marie Yovanovitch. Coincidence? Tom
