The most disgusting aspect of the controversy over border detainees during the Obama administration is the fact that said administration placed children in the hands of human traffickers.

The Washington Post reported in January 2016:

“The Office of Refugee Resettlement, an agency of the Department of Health and Human Services, failed to do proper background checks of adults who claimed the children, allowed sponsors to take custody of multiple unrelated children, and regularly placed children in homes without visiting the locations, according to a 56-page investigative report released Thursday.

And once the children left federally funded shelters, the report said, the agency permitted their adult sponsors to prevent caseworkers from providing them post-release services.

Should Adam Schiff be charged with treason for fabricating statements attributed to President Trump?

Sen. Rob Portman (R-Ohio) initiated the six-month investigation after several Guatemalan teens were found in a dilapidated trailer park near Marion, Ohio, where they were being held captive by traffickers and forced to work at a local egg farm. The boys were among more than 125,000 unaccompanied minors who have surged into the United States since 2011, fleeing violence and unrest in Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador.”

Big League Politics reported:

Anti-Trump pundits, searching for every opportunity to attack the President, have begun circulating pictures taken in 2014 of illegal immigrant children in detention centers, acting as though they were taken while Trump is in office.

The pictures came from an AZcentral article, and have been spread around by high profile social media figures such as Women’s March organizer Linda Sarsour and the white Black Lives Matter leader Shaun King.

While the posts don’t attempt to directly state that they were taken in 2014, when Barack Obama was president, it is highly alluded. That is proven by many of their followers, who directly blame President Trump for what is seen in the pictures.
