You are correct regarding additional licenses. Sorry for the mix-up.

My $100,000 number was based on the average estimated value of each WIND contract, which I think came from a DMG report. That number should increase as more future design wins are for large volume projects such as I20.

By the way, what do you think of the Navio acquisition and price tag?

Ray, Jason, and David:
Thanks for the explanations on run-time licenses. It provided me a good basis of how WIND generates their revenue stream. I've been assessing them for a long term investment, but I get antsy when I see other RTOS companies declining... must be because WIND is either the market leader, or for various reasons, the other companies have internal difficulties. I'll go to the other threads to research further. Thanks again.
