Roger- I am a cheesehead deep down (Wisconsin born and bred). I believe in the super Bowl effect but I also believe the market is ready to cycle back up, at least short-term. Probably no bad news will come out about anything this weekend.
I also just bought some C. (I think it was on your long watch list for a while.) I have always liked Chrysler (first stock I ever bought). Saw their new cars (Concorde, Intrepid, 300) and the Durango at the Detroit International Auto Show last weekend. They are truly impressive- a man of your means should look at the 300 when it is available. There were more consumers looking at those products than any other non show cars (new VW Beetle the one exception-Baby Boom thing I guess:). Dividend yield is just under 5% at current levels-pretty safe IMHO.

I just want to make it known that I think the Broncos are going to take it. (not because I hope it will rattle the markets)

I expect my shorts to go down in all markets...

Roger,

I will put a small wager on the Denver Broncos, for I believe we are due for a down year in the stock market!
