Canadian National Railway (CNR-T) A glimmer of hope this morning in the week-old CNR strike. A spokesperson for the Teamsters union said there’s been “progress” in the talks and that an announcement (without specifying the nature of the announcement) is possible today. That comes after CNR said yesterday the union representing 3,200 conductors and railyard workers who walked off the job last week rejected the company’s proposal to go back to work and bow to binding arbitration. We’ll continue chasing industry reaction and perspective on how the impasse might be resolved. BNN.ca
