Did Putin want REVENGE on Clinton for THIS? Ex-envoy says leader wanted Hillary reprisal

Now former US Ambassador to Russia Michael McFaul has said that the release of the emails could have been sparked by Mr Putin’s desire for revenge over her criticism of the 2011 election that elected the 64-year-old.

Back in 2011, Ms Clinton stated that the Russian people “deserve to have their voices heard and their votes counted, and that means they deserve fair, free transparent elections and leaders who are accountable to them.”

When demonstrations broke out against Putin, he accused Clinton of actively instigating the protests with her statements.

Putin said: “We are required to protect our sovereignty. We will have to think about strengthening the law and holding more responsible those who carry out the task of a foreign government to influence internal political processes.”

While Putin may feel animosity towards Ms Clinton, he has publicly given his support to Mr Trump on several occasions, even calling him a “strong leader”.

Mr Trump has dismissed the claims that Russia tried to influence the outcome of the election, he told Fox News at the weekend: “Democrats are putting it out because they suffered one of the greatest defeats in the history of politics in this country.”

Mr Putin’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov has also dismissed the claims as “some sort of nonsense”.

He said: “Every day, Putin’s site gets attacked by tens of thousands of hackers. Many of these attacks can be traced to US territory. It’s not as though we accuse the White House or Langley of doing it each time it happens.”

No doubt, Putin is ecstatic over the US transformation into a BANANA REPUBLIC. And it happened sooner than anyone expected...

Yeah right. You didn't even follow Putin when Obama could do more after the election and Hillary sold our uranium to him.
