Be honest, you see the government as some sort of super-provider of goods and services. The job of the US government is to provide a platform where by your own efforts you can serve yourself free from invaders and looters. You want government to serve you a turkey dinner and then tuck you in with a warm glass of cocoa while Eleanor Roosevelt sings you a lullaby. With you it is all about free goods and services at the expense and inconvenience of someone else. When I think liberal I think of a monkey on someone’s back.
