The Art of Euphemism is one of the loveliest and most underutilized branches of the language. Using it, a semi-polished sort such as myself can say utterly outrageous things while still maintaining a bland-faced deniability about it all. Sorta a way to have your cupcake and slowly lick all the frosting off it, too.
