Very very simplistic analysis.
I wish it would be so easy.
True hydrocarbons are in sunset mode, but at high risk of fusion technologies and SMR's on thorium and electrolyzers.
Any breakthrough in those technologies will topple the value of NG and oil quite quickly.

In Germany and Austria they started to produce steel with H2 instead of pure coal as a reducing element.
Portland Cement is the next.

Both manufacturing processes use huge amounts of energy.

See gp-joule.com a company started by farmers not overpaid Hi-Tech geeks very innovative.
At present time there is a lot of confusion in the market related to the usefulness of H2 and it's extraction from H2O. People just do not get it. Re-read what I sent you.
Now if farmers around the world will adopt the principle oil and NG may die very soon
