The gop needs massive government debt to create the illusion of growth while they're funneling money from our Treasury (debt from tax cuts) to the ultra wealthy. They lied about balancing the budget, having a replacement plan for the ACA, getting Mexico to pay for a wall and so much more. They can't raise taxes to pay for their wars even when their wars are based on lies about WMDs. But to show how utterly worthless they are, they allowed Bush to stay in a war after there were no WMDs and they voted for republicans after they lied about repeal and replace. Trump was never the problem. He uses them because he knows they're idiots. Republicans are the problem.
