Don, remember the rule. No talk of longs getting burned and no making fun of whoever bought at the top. What are you trying to do, piss off the pond scum -er- market makers and turn this into a bear trap?

BTW, a little anecdotal evidence of AMZN's shortcomings (no pun intended). My wife works in a software lab at HWP and someone in her group needed a particular NT book. Online booksellers' earliest customers were techies, right? A fairly high volume book on a MSFT product? No problem, they thought. Just go to Amazon and get the book. 3-5 days, right? NOT! Four days later, they called Amazon to check on the order. The answer? "Gee, Ms. Customer. That means we'll ship it in 3-5 days."

Perhaps the big Christmas sales will just accelerate the realization by book buyers that this wonderfully convenient and cheap way of buying books is really neither. After all, there are now many more people who have reason to try BKS Web site or get in the car and get what they want same day/same price/no shipping charge.
