I would have to say it is neither bearish nor bullish. Chances are, the buyer of these puts also bought stock. The buyer now has long stock and can sell on a downtick (see my last post), while the seller receives short interest on the stock until the puts are exercised. One other possibility, the puts may have been used instead of stock for a spread trade. Sometimes using deep in the money calls or puts is cheaper than trading the stock.
