Wellll, perhaps it's in the telling.... but the point was with four or five people sharing one computer... you need a personal space of some sort to keep your stuff.... private and secure... and everyone in the family needs at least one personal Zip disk to use in the Zip drive......

Zak, if you download your "stuff" directly to your systems drive, you are an accident waiting to happen. Not trying to be alarmist here but a bug in AOL's software write-protected a drive in my first computer two years ago. Luckily even as a novice I new enough not to download to the C drive.

Now, nothing goes down unless I'm wearing my Zip.
