Jag-dish,
I in no way meant to imply the engineers at ASND were "slackers." If I felt that way, I wouldn't own the stock. I think you're doing a heck of a job--and I imagine being reasonably compensated for your efforts. When you were issued your options, were you aware there was a possibility they could expire worthless if there was a decline in the stock price? And, did you take this into consideration when you accepted your compesation package?

My wife works for Delta Airlines. Over the last decade, she has had options that appeared completely worthless until the last few years. The company has worked hard to turnt the ship around. But, they didn't lower reset the prices in the options when the stock price was cut in half. You know what? The employees continued to work hard to make the options worth something.... Oh, I'm cashing them in today.
