a metaphore for the Y2K Monster TM, Got fed up the last weeks with all the SHORT's hyping on this thread and other BS (all this boring clicking thru those posts on my slow link, I just hate it!); so I started to post some HARD FACTS! Reminds me of the phrase from one of the Alien movies (I think Alien 3): All prisoners on the far away planet are gathered together to discuss yet another prisoners disappearing. Nobody understands; nobody wants to believe that a MONSTER ALIEN BIEST is taking them out one by one (well we as spectators know; we just witnessed it ). Then the leading guy says the words: 'This is rumour control; here are the facts' One can see this as a metaphore for the Y2K Monster lurking out there; and taking out companies one after the other the coming three years. Rumours are rampant - some people have to concentrate on FACTS ;-)))) Regards, John
