I have made many mistakes.. learned from them all.. Not you ? Of course you have.. I also learn from other folks' errors.. On black ice, It will be ahead of you BS and following the vehicle ahead only 1 metre behind I said eventually AI will get there.. but it is a long way off.. sadly much of the advancement will be reducing things to the lowest common denominator.. hence.. oh it's snowing .. Stop all road travel :) I learned the very first time I hit black ice.. to anticipate,, The AWD auto will continue to repeat the same old mistakes ... waiting until it actually hits it... and reacting.. Sometimes it will be OK.. No pro activeness whatsoever... Again yes at some point AI may be as good as a good human.. so many stupid humans though that the bar is terribly low ;) Anyway.. when it does surpass us.. we are redundant.. We developed sentience and started from a few molecules,.. Machines have a running start... Until machines design themselves they will always be suspect in ability... and later.. suspect in motive...
