Of course your statement regarding inside information is true. Do consider some of the facts which are shared on the thread to be defined as "inside" data? I consider the detailed information revealed on the threads to be invaluable but clearly not proprietary or inside, even in the broadest sense. It is an interesting topic since in the past year I have received word of significant contracts, in an incidental fashion, involing 2 companies in high tech, both which are included in SI. I trade neither of the firms, but one of the stocks saw a 33% rise shortly thereafter. However, my point is the information found on SI is indeed generally available to the public and therefore not "inside information". Relax the SEC will leave us alone. <ggg>
