Hi yall. I have been riding around the beautiful Texas Hill Country all day with my Norwegian pal...had a great time. This is really the best place on EARTH !

So how about Clinton, aka the UnaBanger ?

He is in deep do-do with this Jail-Bait-Gate. (Kudos to Leno)

Gold going up and US Bonds going down gives rise to some market jitters. It will be an interesting weekend, no doubt.

Our sector has never looked better from fundamentals -- my favorite view.

One thing we should have all learned over the past few months is that there is an opinion for any direction you want the market to go. Just like books about raising kids. Anyway you want to do it, you can find an "expert" author to profess that method. Same with stocks. We all have our favorite ways, and sometimes we get lucky and our way works.

Personally, I keep coming back to the fact that these companies are making a shit-load of money and will continue to do so as far out as one can reasonably see. That's about enough for me.

With all the talk about TA, I hope some folks don't jump off in it thinking they have found a "system" because it worked once -- or twice. Trust me, if there was a such a system, the entire stock market infrastructure as we know it would have to shut down.

My advice -- that I wish I followed more often -- practice money management and take a "business man's" risk on a stock. This means it's ok to risk a reasonable amount for a loss, but don't let it go past that hoping for a rebound. Just sell, and find another stock to try and make money on. Or buy the same one back later if you see fit.

I KNOW this is the prudent thing to do and I pray that I can start doing it. It is VERY hard!!!!

Pretend you work for someone. The boss tells you how much you have to spend on stocks and he also tells you exactly how much you can lose on each position. If you exceed that, you are fired.

If we all conducted our personal investing like we were an employee and had to follow direction, it would force a disipline on our trading that we typically can not enforce on ourselves. Make sense?

Ok, thats all from me today. Time for some greeasy Messican food.

And why did MIND go up so much today? I love MIND and FGII and I have a strong fondness for EVI and MDCO.

I said to myself, "Self, I think this is what's called 'breaking the downtrend'."

Can't wait to see FGII, MIND, EVI, NE, CDG and the gang follow after.it will happen. When the high flyin' balloons with their pe's of 100+ come a crashin' down...OSX pe's of 12-14 will look mighty tasty.
