Terrence,

It is a puny gold holding compared to the size of the money supply, economy, and government today, isn't it?

We will likely only return to the gold standard (full circle) in a time of crisis, as in all such past events. We may be closer to that than most would think possible.

We drove to the mountain village of Copala yesterday. About 60 miles from Mazatalan. It was settled by the Spaniards in 1545, and there is a Catholic church that was built in 1756. Very picturesque.

As we walked around the village square a 12ish Mexican boy on a donkey came up to us. My wife asked what his donkeys name was and he replied "Beel Clinton".

Don't know if he knew how close he was to the truth, but it cracked me up.

Dwight

Terrence,
I believe your patience is about to be rewarded. I have been occupied with work the last 5-6 days. One unfortunate result was I did not finish reloading the HL pantry, however there is enough larder for a good sized feast, if not the royal banquet that you may enjoy.

I have also enjoyed the plenteous provender of your HM entreā€š also, it has provided two good appetizers to a hungry short term trader looking forward to nibbling the main (longer term) courses. The glorious aromas are wafting from the chef's kitchen even now<g>.
I believe my ABX options may provide a sumptuous dessert.

My, My, if "Beel" keeps misbehaving I may have to go on a diet<g>
Off to plan the next gourmet extravaganza....

Gastronomically yours,

Roebear
