Frank - Welcome to the thread. Glad to see you have the hang of it already and have managed to work Monica L., Bill and a Q phone into the same sentence. Sorry to say I don't know the "other" performing artists. Look forward to the show though.

I spoke too soon in my criticism of the weird QCOM ad. I described the ad to the wife and she instantly recognized it as a play on the recent visit of the Pope to Cuba. That is the way to leverage the news QCOM! The Pope and the tin-pot dictator!! The Q-Phone brings light to the masses suffering from the oppression of GSM/TDMA. Subconsciously it will connect with everyone.

On another note, I forgot to gloat on the recent confessions of MSFT. In the lawsuit now they have virtually admitted that the whole argument that their browser had to be linked to the operating system was a ruse to dissemble the legal system and they have lost credibility big time. Will anybody believe them next time they make a veiled technical argument that happens to suit their competitive advantage? Ericsson - are you listening?

Brian H - thanks for the spin from CDG on the region by region basis. I hadn't seen it before. I am glad to see that there is smoke in China if not fire yet (big orders a la Ericsson). I hope that Maurice's argument that all Ericsson's orders are just extensions is correct.

Let the games begin! Just call me QPOPE.
