I currently get my residential programing from Wireless One.
Its very reasonable even though programming is limited. I'm
interested in what DISH can offer someone that needs programming
in remote areas. Mobility is my concern. I sympathise with
Carter's frustration. CSR assistance from any large sales
operation is usually of limited value. I've spoken with the
sales folks over the last year trying to clarify various details,
and seen a wide variety of product awareness. A very common
answer I've gotten when inquiring about plans for implementing
high speed data transmission is simply "I don't know".
But you know, I run into the same thing when phone shopping for
hardware, software, and resolving compatability issues. I've
actually grown to appreciate an "I don't know" from a new CSR.
I'm not defending anyone, just acknowledging reality.
IMHO DISH's staff, both CSR's & Tech.Suppt. are about what I would
expect from a rapidly expanding sales operation dealing with
a rapidly evolving technology. No better, no worse.
Oh and by the way, Mr. Mena, I envy your $200 deal on the 5000.
I've been shopping for and attempting to acquaint myself with
the HM-DSR100. I like what I see so far. But the price point
and limited information are forcing me to be patient.

A stockholder and future DISH subscriber,
