President Clinton cautioned fellow Democrats about the charges
involving his alleged affair with White House intern Monica Lewinsky.
Press secretary Mike McCurry says Clinton is telling them there is ''a
lot more to learn before judgments ought to be made.'' McCurry says he
does not expect Clinton to hold a news conference or extended interview
before Tuesday night's State of the Union address.

Monica Lewinsky's lawyer says his client is being ''squeezed'' by
independent counsel Kenneth Starr and his subordinates. Attorney William
Ginsburg says Lewinsky would ''tell her story'' to a grand jury if
granted immunity. Ginsburg maintains Lewinsky did nothing wrong. He said
he knows of no relationship between his client and President Clinton.

The U.S. mission to the United Nations was served with subpoenas
requesting background information on Lewinsky. She interviewed there for
a job.

Paula Jones' attorney, Donovan Campbell, says Paula feels bad for
Lewinsky. Campbell had no comment on reports that in a sworn affidavit
Lewinsky denied a relationship with President Clinton.
