Holly, a fellow LWAY investor from Chicago had this to say about the new product Basics Plus.

I stopped by Farm Fresh in Wheeling, IL while running an errand today and low and behold there it was. I wasn't the first one to buy one today either, unless they strategically leave the first few spaces empty. It is packaged in the same container with a similar shaped label but with jazzier graphics and colors (a picture of a healthy looking runner or jumper adorns the front label).

This store must be one of the beta sights for the new Lifeway products as I also found Elita and Sweet Kiss. The latter of which I purchased. In addition they of course had Farmer's cheese, lowfat and nonfat kefir.

Basics Plus is being test marketed in the Chicago area I understand. It is also suppose to be exported to Russia according to their last press release. I can't get the chocolate kefir here where I buy it. Let me know how it is. I did try putting Hershey's chocolate syrup into some Plain kefir but I didn't really like it. My favorites are blueberry and cherry. The guy who tried the Basics Plus said it tastes just like the regular kefir. The only difference is that it has antibodies added to it as far as I know.
I tried to buy more shares today at $8.00 but my order didn't fill.
