I'm pretty sure Dennis told the Edmonton group ANZ mgmt. should know within the next few days what happens with EV. Put that together with these facts:

i) EV is based in BC
ii) Dennis will be in BC this weekend

My bet is that if the JV is to proceed, we will know about it soon.

On another note, I noticed in today's local paper that the German Bundesbank is hoarding massive amounts of gold because of fears the new Euro currency might falter or collapse. Italy and France are also hanging onto huge quantities of gold, partly because of worries about economic instability in the future.

Regards,
WW

i do not believe erin ventures will happen, just a gut feeling.

bc and indo properties---they have more results then they are letting on at these forums. i think they are waiting until after the vancouver show and the price of gold recovers to the 315 to 320 level before announcing.

i believe they will run outta cash by first quarter of 1999, however if they go to one drill they will conserve BUT results will be much slower translation---longer wait.

i agree with your assessment of 75 cents might hit a buck, there will be a ton of people lined up to sell between a 60 cents and a buck.

i also was at the edmonton meeting and they were late because of an airport closure. when they are putting on a show like this i believe they should be better prepared.

regarding the 1 800 number, they should have one, if there were any new investor's at this show they imo would not have been impressed.

also this hawkins or whoever he is---SHOULD KEEP HIS MOUTH SHUT he made a fool otta himself when he started talking about the bc property today. i can not believe they would employ this fool---he really showed how little he actually new. very unimpressed with this dude.

please antares muzzle him, if they take him to vancouver i hope they tape his mouth shut.

regards
john

No,won't be at the presentations out West since I am in the East and am presently away travelling anyway.

I try to keep well in touch with what's going on,however, and am satisfied that things are rolling along OK.Gold and silver price moves like we had on Friday will help eventually, and I am one of those that believes that the EV deal will get done and could be quite interesting.
