Your presence here John has always been dignified - I admire that and your academic demeanor representing a lifetime of experience in that domain.

These are extraordinary times - and the process should be respected... however, a cry for moderation when one is being mugged and bludgeoned is a hard sell. This period in our history has pushed a lot of reset buttons and my faith in my fellow man has been damaged by the indulgences given to this thing we have in the WH and those who enable him.

We'll just have to disagree about that. Violence breaking out is always a short road when humans are in the mix. Trump used anger to the max last election- and the American electorate responded to that. He continues to use anger. While I hope he will drop dead, I doubt he will- so I am more than willing to use the anger against him to the dem advantage. I don't think there's anything to be gained by pretending there's a high road in American politics when you have a whole political party willing to open our elections to foreign meddling. And treasonous bastards like that? I wish them all dead. Wishes don't do much, and prayers are worthless as well, but I support the stoking of blast furnaces of motivational anger- because there are more against Trump than for him, and nothing gets people out to vote like anger. Pussycats and butterflies and nice social ideas don't seem to motivate people. I'm for staying angry.
