You know there is a biological reason for the cultural tendency to castigate a woman more for fornication than to do so to a man. A woman always knows who her progeny are a man does not. To be cuckolded and raise another man's child is to be cheated out of passing on one's genetic makeup. It only makes sense (at least for men) to try to ensure that your children are, infact, your children.
