It is kind of funny. The Democrats have boxed themselves in. As you said, they lose no matter what they do at this point. This is the problem with assholes. There's an old saying that if you think everyone is an asshole, then you are the asshole. This perfectly fits the Democrats. They project onto Trump all the crimes they themselves are committing and the American People see right through their chicanery.
