I let you carry on this rate charade conversation for the last couple of days without saying anything, but I have finally had enough even though you aren't worth the effort of making this post. For the first 7 years of Obama's terms, Fed Funds rate was effectively left at Zero (.25%). It was only in the last 12 months of his presidency that the Fed finally began raising rates, first to .5% in December of 2015 and finally to .75% in December of 2016, his last full month in office. Trump, on the other hand, had to put up with 7 rate increases in his first two years in office. First to .1.00% in March of 2017 and finally to 2.5% in December of 2018. This was choking the recovery so Trump was justifiably complaining about the overly strong dollar it was creating. Eventually, in June of 2019, the Fed began to reverse course and has now lowered rates three times in the second half of this year and Fed Funds now sit at 1.75% . The highest Fed Funds rate Obama had to deal with was in the last month of his Presidency at .75%. Trump has had to deal with rates almost 4 times higher , You probably knew all of this so you can go screw yourself. Your dishonesty and charlatan behavior is really intolerable to any civilized human. It's no wonder that all of your aliases have been ignored by almost everyone on SI. except for a few retarded monkeys posing as progressives. But for those who are interested. there were zero rate cuts under Obama and two rate cuts under Trump.
