t's no surprise Apple lovers "borrowed" the term "evangelist" from MSFT . . .

Correction... I believe Mr Macintosh, Guy Kawasaki was the primary individual to popularize the "evangelist" job title. Guy is credited (well at least in his books <g>) at pretty much single handedly jawboning developers to write early apps for the Mac and drive it to its success.
