I would not blame President Trump for an instant if he resigned and let the country go to hell in a handbasket - as it would almost immediately. My wife recommends that Mr Trump wait until he wins the 2020 re-election, then says FU-ALL and let's VP Pence have it. Then Mr Pence will say, "screw this shit" and give it to the new Speaker of the House. That will not be McCarthy....but.....plenty of fresh young faces with real brains behinds those faces.
