Second, I personally think the Democrats are their own worst enemies. This Impeachment is the gift that keeps on giving to Trump.
If anything, it solidifies his base of support.

Previously, it wasn't certain that the Republicans would stand united against impeachment. If they truly wanted Trump gone, this would be their chance to be on the "right side of history."

Instead, the Republicans in the House all voted against impeachment. Even the 20 Republicans who are retiring from the House voted against it, and some of them are not very fond of Trump.

Now Pelosi wants to withhold the articles of impeachment? LOL, someone please tell me how much leverage she has.

These Democrats really do think they have the upper hand when it comes to this impeachment circus.
