So many young people think that the lifestyles shown in movies and TV are the way most people live. They don't realize that Hollywood is props and posers living a lifestyle few can attain. And the young people get angry if you try to wake them up to facts. Other young people believe that if you look and act successful, you will by default rise to the level you appear to have. They're real posers with high debt. Their motto is, Dress for the job you want, not the job you have. Live the lifestyle you want, not the lifestyle you can afford. We had a young guy show up for warehouse work at Amazon wearing a coat and bow tie, white shirt, suspenders, pleated slacks and patent leather shoes. He lasted about 3 days. I don't get it.
