I felt a lot better about him denying knowledge of the Contragate matter after I heard he had Alzheimers.

To be honest I don't remember his closing statement in that debate. He did crush Mondale overrall though. I think anyone who saw the debates had to agree with that.

Didn't Mondale lose by the widest margin in the history of the country?

C'mon Janice, admit it if he didn't come out and publicly say he had Alzhiemers disease, few people would have ever known. I think he showed allot of courage coming public with it.

He still had the greatest line of any President. When he pointed to that wall and said "Mr Gorbochov! Tear down that WALL!

That one still gives me the chills. The world is now forever changed.

That's the thing about people with Alzheimer's: they themselves do not realize they are faltering mentally. And who, pray tell, is going to tell the President of the United States of America that he is losing it? In all probability, Nancy and her astrologer were running the country for quite some time.
