Please compare the press releases of GERN in 3/24/1997 and 12/22/1997.
GERN reported $58 million collabration agreement with Pharmacia & upjohn, so the stock price was up about three points, which is the first obvious up movment of its stock price in 1997. The press release in 12/22/1997 had only empty words and no money was mentioned.

The total assets of GERN was $31 million in July but only $25 million in Nov. 10Q. The assets reduction is about $6 millions in that quarter instead only $2.2 million lose in operation expenses.

Kyowa Hakko provided about $1.5 million quarterly (this money will gone from April, 1998) and Pharmacia & Upjohn provides $1.25 million quarterly.

Didn't mean to suggest I "like" the company. But, to think they're in financial trouble is absurd. btw, why do you say, "poor dog"? That really ruined my weekend.
