True. But back to the topic at hand.

For 3500 I am talking about less than a 9% advance from here.

Given we are in the midst of a parabolic rise here, I see that easily possible by the end of January (quickly).

I'll concede that in many ways the underlying foundation for this rally is purely printing and confidence -- buuut that having brought us at least 1/2 the way to here from the overnight bottom when the trump-meister was elected -- I don't see why the same -- printing and con-fidence can't take us up another 9% or so. TO say THIS is the top -- well -- that seems a bit crazy!! It may turn out to be -- but if anyone calls it here -- it will be dumb luck.

Still waiting for all the bear complaints to reach a real crescendo ... we are somewhat close, I think.

That said, I bought some SOXS calls Monday -- maybe we are due for a little scare??

Wait till all the bears are crying in January and February will probably provide a better R/R??

That's my crazy thinking at this point.

Ms. Boomer -- do you like gold and/or oil? Give me your take on those.

I don't think 4000 on the spx is possible unless there are some serious shifts in fiscal policy.

I am at least bearish to neutral for the coming 6-12 month period.

OTOH, I've been thoroughly surprised by tech stock advance in last half of this year and I thought -- at this time last year there was a lot more downside to come => I am not a rabid bull, but recognize how easy it is to get these things wrong.

BTW -- what is your target for this blow-off top -- do you like Fintas number? (I mean the last one he gave -- maybe he has an updated analysis when he comes back).
