Brendan, >in the end it's better for the CEO to have been overly negative than overly positive in forward looking statements.<

There may be a middle way. <g>

<<Overall, while KE's negative spin was not good for us, I thought he sounded conservative and truthful. I think the analysts are misinterpreting his statements to a large degree. Also, I guess that in the end it's better for the CEO to have been overly negative than overly positive in forward looking statements.>>

I've always defended KE's conservative and candid approach in the past even though on occasion it has caused a short term price decline. But this time I think he went to far...throw in the excuse about Asia, the usual delays and the slowing growth in the US, and I get the feeling that the current PERCEPTION is whether their flagship product is reaching a saturation point.

This thing is far from over and with all the evidence I have been able to gather says that Zip is still well in front in the chase for a standard. I also agree with the advertising...this has proven time and again to work and create brand awareness.

I just disagree with the way this was conveyed to the public.

Oh and then the split...I know its redundant but announcing a split is commonly viewed as a positive, that things are clocking along pretty well...not we'll be missing earnings in a few weeks and will make very cautionary statements in the cc.

Oh well, Neil.
