Freddie...originally I was going to return a slam....but I was really trying to make a point. Everyone wants to put the blame on someone .....but you need to understand where the blame belongs. It's easy to blame the MM's and shorters....hell thats the standard answer to everthing. You need to understand the market and the different cycles it goes through. You need to try and understand investor sentiment...not just your own, the people on this thread, or people you know....but the people that are buying and selling alot. The mutal funds control an incredible amount of stock in this market...when they change sentiments....so does the market. Now this is not the only thing obviously, but it has an impact. There are numerous factors that control a market...the more you understand them the better you anticipate your trades. Some stocks are cyclical....some move in relation to international events...some move by sector, etc. You need to keep an eye on the big picture and learn what makes profesional investors tick. There is alot more to investing than just picking a stock based on TA or FA. Unfortunately, it takes time to learn this....it's an on going evolution and everyone is constantly learning. I won't argue this stock is controlled....most stocks are....but it's by buyers and sellers. Sure MM's want to make a profit...thats their job.....but if you think they are controlling it right now...I got news for you....they aren't.
