It's a wonderful discussion of the future of Lucent. I'm not too sure that Lucent cannot respond to the technical modifications to its work force and product direction. In fact, I would bet that Lucent will respond and do it with relish!!!! East Coast has some advantages...MIT among other great institutions./ Lucent had developed some significant improvemnts for future generations of semi products without being located in Silicone Valley!!!!!!! The computing labs in the east coast are second to none. You should review your comments and reconsider.....
