I'm against people getting cash for living in remote areas that are prone to fires- whether those people are rich or poor. I'm also against people building in low lying areas that flood all the time. No need to waste government money on lifestyle choices.

What I am for is livable, cheap housing for the poor in areas that aren't considered flood or fire dangers. Let's make that happen- after Trump and his henchmen are out, because otherwise they'll steal all the money and build the houses out of shit.

Most people aren't willing to do the hard things to reduce the effects of climate change. Like, don't build in a forest, don't build on a flood plain, don't have kids.
