Holly, she only told someone she THOUGHT was a girlfriend, so far as we know. She has already signed an affidavit that there was no relationship, so her first instinct was to protect the president. But is that worth a felony conviction for her? The actual crisis is about perceived felony crimes like perjury and obstruction of justice and a cover-up, not the underlying sex act, however. At least this is what it says on the Boink thread, and all over the media tonight. The Clinton White House is making every move it can in a "spin" sense to discredit her character, incidentally. In itself a not a classy move, and I think it might backfire.
