Dr. Iomega, I forgive you BUT . . . I don't know how to find the posts, but you did say "THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO WAY IOMEGA WILL MISS THEIR NUMBER" You were obviously wrong. The Street is very concerned. I think your biggest problem is KE. He has to go. He is a snake oil salesman that is hosing the shareholders big time. As for you, I hope things pick up there. You seem like a good guy. Maybe you can answer this though: If Iomega has a backlog, and we all know of the absence of internal Zips at retail, why the hell are inventory levels up? This doesn't make any sense at all. I can't believe any of those worthless analysts didn't ask this in the CC. Also, I can't believe none of them asked any questions about the stock price. Nor the split.

Heeee's Baaaaack! Whoever you are, why don't you think about a name change for starters...or you could lay out your actual IOM credentials. In my very strong opinion, you did do something wrong: I believe you lied about who you are and what you "knew." That sucks. This is not Monopoly money on the table here (BTW, I didn't take any action based on your posts, but you are a part of the info mix here). As for "trying to cheer people up when times were bad," why don't you bang your head against the wall to see if it starts working again... my fellow investors here were so friggin' cheerful, they were posting Q4 EPS numbers in the 20s! If you're so damned interested in bringing happiness to us when we're down whip out your checkbook. Happiness (investing/trading wise) is about making money, or at least keeping it out of the Big Swirl...it is not about having a pleasant thread experience. And, please note, the people who hate this stock and were speading all that malicious BS, won this round. Also, it is a well known fact that you can live with your enemies...it's the people you thought were on your own side that totally screw you up. Stick around if you want but, please, clean up your act. And be aware of the fact that I know a guy who owns highly trained (but almost impossible-to-control) ROTFLAMOS, a breed so viscious that the AKC refuses to recognize it as an actual dog! Not only are they the ultimate attack animal, they are capable of tracking their prey to the ends of the earth. Try to stay out of trouble. I'm serious.

Dear Dr. IOMEGA... You know what they say about "good intentions" don't you? Something about the road to Hell is paved with them! I don't think many people only used your "good intentions" to make their decisions to buy the stock or to sell their stock specifically, but you were the voice of confirmation coming from somewhere in Utah who seemed to have at least some idea of what was going on with IOM in general. So, yes, you did have some significant effect on many of us here. The bears were innoculated against any good news, so I doubt that any of them would have cared what you posted. Depending on who you are close to at IOM, you obviously are not in the executive suite and may not have been privy to the upcoming ad campaign and its tremendous cost, or you might not have known about the growing inventory backlog, or you may not have understood the 70 million drop in revenues from the delay of several pre-announced new products... Jaz 2 especially. You probably did not have information on how IOM might be negatively affected by the Asian financial trurmoil, etc. etc etc.... However, you made recent statements that lead us to beleive that everything was just great and we were going to see "more of the same" what ever you meant by that! So, if you didn't know the important stuff, you really should not have posted anything that might indicate that you did. As others have said, this ain't Monopoly money we are "playing" with... Your credibility just went right out the window with this thread and I really don't know how you could regain it. If you don't know, say you don't know, we can understand that, but what you recently posted was just plain DUMB! You are now PART OF THE PROBLEM! I don't know what to advise, but at this point maybe its time to TAKE OFF YOUR MASK AND COME CLEAN ABOUT WHO YOU ARE AND AT LEAST POST YOUR E-MAIL ADDRESS or at least give us some way to get a private message to you. Yes you did let us down and you now need to take on the RESPONSIBILITY AND ACCOUNTABILITY for what you post here... We (many of us) looked forward to hearing from you as you did seem to have some knowledge of what was going on in and around Roy. You really blew it big time over the past several days! BTW what ever happened to the long list of QUESTIONS THAT YOU WERE GOING TO GET TO IOM for the Conference Call??? Sorry to go on and on here, but I do feel that you really lead us astray. I did speculate at to your true identity in my post to Rocky yesterday... did you read it?... Are you really Bob Skinner in real life? As I recall, he also has a spelling problem. I'm still hurting from huge paper losses myself, but many others here who were deep into options or margined to the hilt may have to mortgage the house, car and kids too just to keep going.... I think you lied about your identity. We are adults here and we do not need some comic figure pretending to be someone he's not to cheer up. That to me is very very wrong.
